Position Summary

The IT Project Manager is responsible for successfully executing initiatives across Duravant IT and its Operating Companies using established project management processes and tools. This is a senior-level role, managing critical, enterprise-wide IT projects spanning various domains such as Infrastructure, Analytics, Applications, and Cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clear communication, strong leadership, organizational excellence, and robust support capabilities.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project management: initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure.
• Collaborate with operating companies and enterprise teams to align project approaches.
• Ensure business cases are developed and value is tracked with business owners.
• Apply organizational change management practices to enhance user adoption.
• Resolve issues and support project progress through direct team engagement.
• Allocate resources, manage budgets, monitor progress, and maintain stakeholder communication.
• Partner with business leaders to establish best-fit practices.
• Influence leadership and peers to adopt common processes.
• Communicate project vision and strategy to leadership and peers.
• Maintain regular communication with business partners for awareness and continuous improvement.
• Utilize Agile delivery methodologies and CI/CD tools effectively.

Position-Specific Competencies

• Familiarity with industry practices such as ERP, MES, CRM, and PLM.
• Proven experience in project/program management; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Ability to balance IT standards with Operating Company needs.
• Strong team collaboration skills.
• Experience in vendor management.

Position Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience managing IT projects.
• Proficiency with tools like Planview AdaptiveWork and Azure DevOps.
• At least 5 years of experience leading large-scale IT projects (e.g., ERP/CRM implementations).
• Preferred: 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP and/or Salesforce.
• Demonstrated hands-on support and engagement in business operations.
• Strong communication skills, especially with executive leadership.
• High sense of urgency and reliability in business operations.
• Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed.

Work Environment

• Primarily based at Duravant Corporate Office in Downers Grove, IL .
