Assistant Project Manager - Aviation STV is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team in San Antonio, TX. Responsibilities Assist the Project Manager in leading the project team, setting goals, developing policies and procedures, and mentoring team members. Carry out duties as assigned by the Project Manager to achieve successful completion of projects. Monitor design and construction activities to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards. Monitor, evaluate, and develop project budgets, cash flow analyses, and cost estimates; review purchase orders, change orders, and invoices. Forecast, identify, and address potential liabilities and risks. Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules; ensure project objectives are met. Maintain client, consultant, contractor, and vendor relationships; manage conflict resolution. Communicate complex ideas, anticipate concerns, and persuade executive leadership to adopt positions that facilitate project success. Assist in evaluating, developing, and selecting standards, protocols, policies, and procedures. Provide guidance, direction, and instruction to less experienced team members. Required Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management. Demonstrated experience, knowledge, and track record in project management techniques, concepts, principles, and standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate at all levels. Knowledge and ability to creatively resolve issues as they arise. High proficiency with general Microsoft applications, including MS Project and SharePoint. Desired experience with project management software and applications. Ability to forecast project challenges and define solutions to maintain compliance with safety protocols, quality, schedule, and budget.
