Robinson+Cole, a Vault “Top Ranked” Am Law 200 firm, seeks an associate with three to five years of experience to join the Bankruptcy and Reorganizations Practice Group in its Wilmington, DE office. Robinson+Cole’s nationally-recognized Bankruptcy and Reorganizations team works extensively on insolvency-related matters for debtors, committees, and creditors, including banks and other financial institutions, individual lenders, syndicated lending groups, institutional investors, vendors, and landlords. Our clients include hedge funds, private equity funds, acquirers of assets from financially distressed companies, real estate and equipment lessors, special servicers, equity holders, and franchisees. We have extensive, in-depth experience innovating and implementing strategies for the modern bankruptcy practice. We are seeking a candidate with superior academic credentials and excellent writing and analytical skills to join our fast-paced practice. Prior bankruptcy experience gained through a judicial clerkship/large law firm (or equivalent) is a plus. The duties of the position include, but are not limited to: assisting in the representation of debtors, creditors and official and unofficial committees in business bankruptcy and restructuring matters; drafting and reviewing court filings, such as motions, memoranda, and complaints; conducting research and drafting related correspondence, memoranda, and briefs; attending to all matters related to discovery in contested matters and adversary proceedings; and participating at trial, including preparing witnesses and trial exhibits. Admission to the Delaware bar is required for this position.
