As we continue to grow, we're seeking a skilled BIM Technician with expertise in Revit, clash detection, and piping/plumbing systems modeling to enhance our project delivery and coordination efforts.
Position Summary
As a BIM Technician, you will be instrumental in developing and managing detailed 3D models of mechanical systems, focusing on piping and plumbing layouts. Collaborating closely with project management and field teams, you'll ensure constructability and coordination through advanced BIM tools. Your contributions will directly impact project efficiency, accuracy, and overall success.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain 3D models using Revit for MEP systems (piping & plumbing).
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks, facilitating resolution with project teams.
• Interpret blueprints and construction drawings to inform model accuracy.
• Generate detailed shop drawings and layout documentation for field installation.
• Support BIM coordination meetings and updates across project phases.
Qualifications
• 3–5 years of experience as a BIM Technician in MEP construction.
• Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, and understanding of BIM standards.
• Strong knowledge of piping systems, plumbing layouts, and reading blueprints.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
