As a Biology Teacher at Links Academy, you will bring science to life through personalized, one-on-one instruction that fosters curiosity and a deep understanding of the natural world. You will guide students in grades 6–12 through topics such as cellular biology, genetics, ecology, and human anatomy while connecting scientific concepts to real-world applications. With small caseloads and a flexible, supportive environment, you will have the time and autonomy to create meaningful learning experiences that match each student’s pace and goals. What You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred At least two years of experience teaching middle or high school Biology Teaching certification preferred but not required Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Passion for inspiring students through hands‑on, inquiry‑based instruction What You’ll Do Design and deliver individualized Biology instruction across multiple levels, from general to advanced or AP courses Create labs, projects, and activities that make complex concepts engaging and accessible Integrate cross-disciplinary connections between biology, chemistry, and environmental science Track and document student progress using digital tools to guide instruction Communicate regularly with students, families, and administrators to ensure consistent academic support Links Academy is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
