Our program is expanding, emphasizing high-quality, team-based care. As a CT Surgeon here, you will collaborate with and be supported by an experienced and highly skilled multidisciplinary team, including surgical, cardiology, cardiac anesthesia, vascular surgical, advanced practice clinicians, perfusionists, medical critical care, hospitalists, and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Fellowship Training : Completion of a Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship.
• Surgical Expertise : Proficiency in complex valve repair and replacement, aortic procedures (including complex aneurysms and dissections), coronary artery bypass grafting, and a variety of general thoracic procedures. Experience with minimally invasive cardiac, robotic thoracic operations, and transcatheter aortic valve repair is highly desired.
• Board Certification : Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery (ABTS).
• Licensure : Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Minnesota.
• Team Collaboration : Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team and with referring physicians.
• Patient-Centered Care : Commitment to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Quality and Innovation : Passionate about quality, process improvement, programmatic development, and team building.
• Communication Skills : Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to foster a positive and productive environment.

COMPENSATION

• $871,459. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
