Class A OTR Owner Operator at Clean Harbors summary:

The Class A OTR Owner Operator position at Clean Harbors involves operating tractor-trailer units on long-haul routes averaging 2800-3000 miles per week, primarily between Lexington, SC and La Porte, TX. The role emphasizes strict adherence to health and safety regulations, proper handling of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, load securement, and compliance with DOT requirements. Compensation includes hourly and mileage pay with bi-weekly home time, requiring a Class A CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements and experience using technology for reports and dispatch.

Clean Harbors is looking for an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in Lexington, SC. This route runs from Lexington, SC to La Porte, TX and averages 2800-3000 miles per week. This is a (Flex) and could run other destinations as needed requiring 2-3 weeks out at a time.

About the role:

• Average $200-250K per year
• BI-Weekly home time
• Compensation package includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• 12+ months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
