Job Description

Navitor Midwest is looking for a Digital Press Operator! Responsibilities include setting up, operating, and maintaining digital printing equipment to meet job specifications, schedules, and deadlines pertaining to production orders, proofs, and supplied samples. Troubleshoot mechanical and printing issues, make adjustments and corrections to meet production and quality standards, perform routine maintenance and minor repairs of press, delivery, feeder, coater, and other equipment. Assist in product development by producing samples on press and giving expert input. Ensure proper paper handling, conditioning, and loading. Make image quality and productivity recommendations to workflow. Ensure required resources are available. Respond appropriately to fault, error, and alert messages. Keep supervisor informed of any concerns or issues that would compromise quality, schedules, or safety. Shift is 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm. Requirements include ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas, regularly remain in a stationary position, operate machinery and handle products including print materials, frequently move inside the facility, regularly move up to 25+ pounds. Must be mechanically inclined, able to work in a fast-paced, high energy, and challenging environment, willing to cross-train in various departments, team player with a positive attitude, strong organizational, multi-tasking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, basic math skills, able to stand for an entire shift, and able to lift up to 20 pounds.
