Taylor Corporation is looking for a Digital Press Operator to join our 2nd shift in Waco, TX. Responsibilities include preparing and operating printing press equipment in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards, performing daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment, preparing inks for proper color and consistency, checking paper for type, size, color and quantity, checking plates for correct format, visually inspecting forms throughout run for quality, coordinating with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs and reorganize to meet deadline changes, and maintaining knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment. Shift is 12:00pm-8:30pm, Monday - Friday. Requirements include ability to set adjustable mechanism to required tolerances, high degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail, high degree of mechanical ability, good reading ability, solid computer skills including Microsoft Suite and familiarity with PDFs, ability to learn new software, ability to communicate and exchange accurate information, ability to remain stationary, operate machinery and handle print materials, frequently move inside the facility, and regularly move up to 25+ pounds. Preferred qualifications include High School Diploma/GED, ability to work with very close tolerances, effective communication skills, high degree of analytical skills, and good color discernment.
