In order to be considered for this position you MUST have at least 2-3 years of leadership experience working with a Managed Long-Term Care (MLTC) or a Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA). You MUST also have an existing Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Pay range is $150,000.00-$165,000.00 per year

JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a Director of Patient Services (RN) to lead and oversee clinical and operational functions within our Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA) in New York. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, optimizing patient care delivery, and driving strategic initiatives to support agency growth and excellence in home healthcare services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership & Operations:

Provide oversight of clinical and administrative operations to ensure high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

Ensure the agency maintains accreditation and licensure by staying current with all regulatory and compliance standards.

Collaborate with executive leadership, finance, HR, and field staff to drive operational efficiency and high-quality patient outcomes.

Monitor and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including patient satisfaction, staff productivity, and financial performance.

Clinical Oversight & Patient Services:

Indirect oversight of clinical staff, including nurses, therapists, and home health aides, ensuring proper training, supervision, and adherence to best practices.

Address patient concerns and complaints, working with teams to resolve issues effectively.

Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement (CQI) through audits, case reviews, and outcome tracking.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

Ensure compliance with CMS (Medicare), and CHHA-specific regulations.

Oversee state surveys, audits, and inspections, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Implement infection control measures, emergency preparedness plans, and staff competency programs.

Maintain Policies and Procedures to align with best practices and regulatory changes.

Staff Management & Development:

Conduct performance evaluations and provide mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities.

Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that encourages employee engagement and high performance.

Strategic Growth & Financial Management:

Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, optimize revenue streams, and control costs.

Collaborate with the billing and finance departments to ensure accurate reimbursement and financial sustainability.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in New York State with at least 2-3 years of leadership experience in a CHHA, MLTC, or home healthcare setting.

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field preferred.

Strong knowledge of CHHA regulations, NYSDOH, Medicare, and managed care policies.

Proven leadership and team-building experience in a clinical and operational capacity.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience implementing and managing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.

Background in performance improvement initiatives and accreditation processes.

Financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost containment.
