We are looking for a
motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with experienced electricians and grow your career while pursuing your Journeyman's Electrical License. You will be a key part of our maintenance team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and production equipment.
What You'll Do: \n - \n Master Your Trade: Partner directly with licensed electricians to perform daily troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on our facility and production equipment.
\n - \n Problem-Solve: Troubleshoot and fix issues related to electrical, controls, and PLC systems.
\n - \n Install and Maintain: Construct and modify new and existing electrical circuits and distribution equipment, ensuring all work follows National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements. You'll also assist with the integration, start-up, and debugging of new or moved equipment.
\n - \n Team Up: Work with external contractors on equipment servicing and installations, and help guide other technicians in repairs and maintenance.
\n - \n Stay Organized: Maintain accurate documentation of all equipment repairs and modifications and assist in managing our spare parts inventory.
\n - \n Prioritize Safety: Follow all company safety and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and help identify and correct any safety hazards.

Qualifications \n - Actively pursuing an Electrician's license.
\n - Experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance is preferred.
\n - Knowledge of PLCs (Rockwell, Siemens), robotics (ABB, Fanuc), and HMI systems (Rockwell, iFix) is a plus.
\n - Familiarity with the NEC and experience reading electrical prints, including European styles.
\n - Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., work at heights, and obtain a forklift and company truck driver's license.
\n - Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
\n - Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
\n - A detail-oriented team player with a strong work ethic and a focus on safety.

Pay Transparency nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $17.20 - $31.90 Per Hour
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
