Avo Photonics ( is a dynamic contract engineering services company that designs, develops and manufactures custom opto-electronic products for a large customer base. Members of our staff have the opportunity to design, prototype and produce next generation products for a diverse range of markets including environmental, medical, military, industrial, aerospace, and communications.

We seek a diligent, dedicated and meticulous person who will help to further our success and reputation in the industry through world-class customer service. The successful candidate must plan his/her own work schedule, keep multiple records, be self-motivated, maintain a professional presence, and have the desire to take ownership of projects.

Specifically :

• Manage and perform all aspects of facilities maintenance and building systems management including HVAC/Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Painting and General Upkeep.
• Assess facility maintenance issues to determine when licensed contractors are necessary; ensure closure on all problems with contractors in a timely manner.
• Manage maintenance technician(s) daily tasks to assist in performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs.
• Lead projects for facilities improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance to all fire, safety, and EHS requirements.

Requirements :

• 5 years experience in facilities management for 24x7 operations
• BS in Engineering is preferred
• Experience with high voltage 480v electrical distribution in an industrial environment
• Strong project management skills
• Strong communication skills to interface with contractors and to report to management
