👶 Your Impact

As a Child Life Specialist, you’ll be a beacon of comfort and support for children navigating medical experiences. You’ll:

• • Prepare and educate children for procedures through therapeutic play and emotional support
  • Plan and lead activities that normalize the hospital environment
  • Advocate for families and promote patient-centered care
  • Coordinate special events and collaborate with volunteers
  • Supervise students and volunteers, sharing your expertise and passion

🎓 What You Bring

• • Bachelor’s degree in a Child Life-related field
  • Completion of a Child Life internship
  • Eligibility for certification through the Association of Child Life Professionals
  • BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
  • Strong foundation in child development and medical terminology

Preferred:

✔️ 2+ years of experience in child education or healthcare

✔️ Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS)
