WE'RE HIRING: General Sales Manager / Finance Manager Coggins of the Berkshires
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Compensation: $100,000+ annually (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site Leadership Position

Coggins of the Berkshires, a proud part of the locally owned and community-driven Coggins Auto Group, is looking for a GSM/Finance Manager to oversee the full scope of our sales and finance operations. This is a hands-on, high-impact leadership role ideal for someone who thrives on growth, accountability, and making both customers and employees feel like family.

What Youll Do:

• Lead, coach, and grow the sales and finance departments with energy and professionalism

• Work directly with customers to develop enriching, long-lasting relationships

• Establish trust and build a strong network of loyal clientele and prospects

• Provide guidance and close support during customer negotiations and deals

• Facilitate ongoing sales training to drive team development and performance

• Set clear goals and expectations for sales targets and customer experience

• Stay deeply involved in day-to-day operations, ensuring excellence at every level

• Drive sales results and analyze business metrics to identify growth opportunities

• Partner with the GM to manage inventory, vehicle pricing, and department expenses

• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations

What You Bring:

• Proven experience in automotive dealership management (GSM or Finance Manager)

• Demonstrated success in retail automotive sales

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills you're a coach, not just a manager

• Ability to motivate, energize, and train your team daily

• Excellent organization and follow-up skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams, and dealership platforms like DealerTrack and VINsolutions

• Tech-savvy with a passion for using tools to improve process and performance

• Clean driving record and valid drivers license

• High school diploma or equivalent
