The following vacancy exists in Goshen Community Schools for the 2025-26 school year:

Goshen High School

50% CTE - Business & Information Technology Teacher

Position Overview:


We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Business Teacher to join our Career and Technical Education (CTE) department. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality instruction in business and information technology courses, preparing students for success in post-secondary education and the workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging curriculum aligned with Indiana Academic Standards for Business, Marketing, Information Technology, and Entrepreneurship.
• Teach courses such as: Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Business Communication, Financial Management, Business Law, Personal Financial Literacy, Marketing, and IT Fundamentals.
• Utilize instructional strategies that incorporate current and emerging business practices and technologies.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Integrate career exploration and development activities into the curriculum.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community partners to support student achievement.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and educational best practices.

Qualifications:


Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Education, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

Licensure:

• Valid Indiana teaching license in Business and Information Technology.
• For CTE content areas, documentation of 4,000 hours of related non-teaching industry work experience is required.

WORK CALENDAR: School year - 184 days per year; 40 hours per week

SALARY: Teaching Contract - 184 days
