Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Special Education Teacher to support students in grades K through 12. This contract position runs from January 2026 through June 2026, serving a diverse range of classrooms including Self-Contained, Resource, and Special Day classrooms. Work with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels to create inclusive learning environments tailored to individual needs.

Location: Conway, Arkansas
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 30 to 37.5 hours per week
Compensation: Starting at $37+ per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide direct instruction and support based on each students unique goals and abilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student progress
• Manage self-contained classrooms and resource settings to foster academic and social growth
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly

Qualifications:

• Active state teaching license in Special Education required
• Experience teaching students with disabilities across K-12 grade levels, especially in self-contained and resource settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to adapt instruction to meet varied learning needs
• Commitment to creating supportive and inclusive classrooms
