We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated In-Vehicle Tester to join our automotive testing team. The selected candidate will be responsible for executing test cases, collecting data, and validating vehicle features and systems in real-world and simulated driving environments.
Execute functional, system, and performance testing of in-vehicle systems (e.g., infotainment, ADAS, powertrain).
Follow defined test procedures and report issues using tracking tools.
Collect, log, and analyze test data using standard logging and analysis tools.
Conduct on-road, test-track, and/or lab-based testing as required.
Perform basic diagnostics and issue triage on software and hardware failures.
Support vehicle updates (flashing ECUs, reprogramming modules).
Collaborate with engineers and test managers to communicate findings and support issue resolution.
Must have
Previous experience in in-vehicle or automotive testing roles.
Familiarity with vehicle systems and automotive development life cycle.
Ability to operate test equipment (e.g., CAN loggers, oscilloscopes).
Valid U.S. driver's license with clean driving record.
Comfortable with travel and occasional shift or weekend work based on project needs.
Nice to have
Experience with tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, ETAS INCA, or similar.
Background in automotive electronics, mechatronics, or a related technical field.
Knowledge of test standards and automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
