Jr. Automation Engineer - Medical Device Experience Job title: Automation Test Engineer - Medical Device Experience Duration: 12 months contract Job Description: Collaborate with Business & Dev teams to understand the software requirements, features, functionality, and any source code check-in. Develop and execute test plans and test cases for functional & regression testing (including REST APIs). Manage the source code version control process using Git and GitHub. Commit and push code to the GitHub remote repository and resolve merge conflicts. Identify, report, and track defects found during testing. Ensure that automated tests are maintained, updated, and executed as part of the continuous integration process. Conduct code reviews of automation scripts and provide feedback on the testability of the software. Ensure code performance by maintaining high standards of test protocol automation & thoughtful design. Collaborate as an engaged member of an agile team, realizing features through test and delivery. Engage in technical planning, design, and code reviews including peer code review of pull requests for test automation scripts. Possess good communication skills, be self-motivated, proactive, task-oriented, a team player, and a quick learner.
