Home Health Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Jackson, MI
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay: $45/hour + $0.67/mile reimbursement
Benefits: Paid Sick Leave, Health Insurance

Overview:

We are currently hiring a skilled and reliable Home Health RN for a 13-week contract in Jackson, MI. This full-time day-shift role involves delivering direct patient care in the home setting, managing clinical assessments, and coordinating services to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in their homes under physician orders
• Complete assessments, develop care plans, and perform clinical documentation using Epic and OASIS
• Administer IV therapy, wound care, and other skilled procedures as needed
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and recovery support
• Coordinate care with other disciplines such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, and social work
• Accurately log travel mileage for reimbursement (tracked via Kronos)

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent home health experience
• Current Michigan RN license
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Experience with IV therapy, OASIS, and Epic
• Valid Michigan driver's license with reliable transportation
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
• Ability to lift, move, and support patients as needed

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in acute care settings
• Excellent communication and time management skills
