WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Amsterdam, New York.

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Critical Care Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Amsterdam, NY.

Job Function:

\n

• Night Shift.
\n
• 7pm to 7:30am.
\n
• Evaluate and monitor the patient’s progress.
\n
• Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition.
\n
• Deliver regular updates to doctors, patients, and their family members.
\n
• Begin treatment and monitor doses. If necessary, respond to a medical emergency and alert the appropriate doctors.
\n
• Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in the ICU unit. Complete all necessary paperwork before transferring a patient.
\n
• Maintain patient records.
\n
• Create and implement effective care plans.
\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
\n
• Current RN license for the state that you are working in (or willingness to obtain).
\n
• 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty.
\n
• BLS & ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
\n
