​WCS Healthcare is actively seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse for a contract assignment at a reputable health center in Holyoke, Massachusetts. This role offers the opportunity to provide compassionate mental health care within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Job Function:

\n

• Evening Shift.
\n
• 3pm -11:30pm.
\n

• Assess patients' mental health status and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.​

  \n
\n

• Administer and monitor psychotropic medications, observing for efficacy and potential side effects.​

  \n
\n

• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships to support patients' emotional well-being and recovery.​

  \n
\n

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.​

  \n
\n

• Document patient progress and any notable changes in behavior or condition, ensuring accurate and timely records.​​

Job Requirements:

\n

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
\n
• Current Massachusetts State RN license (or willingness to obtain).
\n
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
\n
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
\n
• CPI certification preferred.
\n
• 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty.
\n
