Shift times are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with APC coverage from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. There is no scribe support, and the EMR used is Meditech. Physicians are not responsible for admitting orders, and the facility is not designated as a trauma center. To help stabilize the program, 10 locum shifts per month are needed on a short-term basis (36 months), starting in August.
