More About the Role: A wellness coach is responsible for guiding clients on their fitness and health objectives, mentoring them on activities for a healthy lifestyle, and creating customized wellness plans to manage their developmental conditions. Wellness coaches conduct counseling sessions to listen to the clients' issues, including their stress, practices, meal plans, and other daily lifestyle activities. They also plan and suggest activities for the clients while observing their behaviors and create instructional guides to sustain a positive emotional and mental perspective. Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support clients in booking and rescheduling appointments, suggesting additional services. Dimensional Wellness assessments and administer questionnaires Review results from the assessment and discuss wellness goals Establish (in partnership with clients) wellness goals based on SMART goals Be able to work with and support diverse groups of clients Inspire, encourage, teach, correct, and empower clients to live a healthy and balanced life. Assist in reducing the negative impact on individuals by providing wellness resources, tips, and skills Educate clients on stress reduction techniques and Dimensions of Wellness Follow up with clients to support and encourage progress Educational Requirements & Skills & Qualifications: A degree in Psychology is preferred 3 years of case management experience in a social service agency preferred. Background in Eastern medicine & Western medicine is desired DBT certification is preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be Bilingual (Fluent in Spanish) Analytical thinking and ability to analyze data. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Occasional travel may be required. Ideal Candidate: Experience working with both kids & adults Certified in Yoga minimum 200 hours Behavioral Therapy background or experience Consistent & organized Time Commitment Minimum: 3-6 hours per week, during normal business hours (Monday - Friday between 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. PST).
