Early Childhood Educator/Montessori Teacher

Please only applicants who have Montessori preschool teaching background to reply to this job offer. We are a full-day Montessori inspired program seeking an ECE Montessori Teacher in our 3-5-year-old class. Our ideal candidate will be:

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Observing, guiding, supervising and assessing preschoolers in a classroom environment Leading and managing children in a classroom setting of a group up to 25
• Planning and implementing engaging crafts and hands-on learning experiences
• Communicating with parents and staff in an effective and positive way

• $27-29/hour depending on training and experience

Candidates must have:

• Montessori experience: 3-5 year experience preferred or willing to take Montessori program.
• A doctor's note of good health
• A child-care first aid certified or willingness to get certified
• The ability to support our full curriculum as described in our policies
• The physical ability to perform all assigned tasks including walking, standing for extended periods of time
• A valid BC ECE license
• A clean criminal record check
