Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant
Job Description

This position is for a Central Fill pharmacy located in Everett, WA, that supplies patient-level prescriptions for a large retail national chain. The role involves working in an automated refill center and performing warehouse operations such as packing prescriptions, receiving, and shipping.

Responsibilities

• Process orders for shipping.
• Fold and pack paperwork with prescriptions to prepare for shipping.
• Sort orders by store location and place them in totes for shipping.
• Load products into trucks.
• Comply with policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Review reports for errors.
• Pack patient paperwork and prescriptions.
• Sort patient orders.

• Pharmacy support experience.
• WA State Pharmacy Assistant License (applicant can apply upon being accepted for the position as the license takes 1-2 weeks to process).
• 0-1 year of experience in a pharmacy production environment.
• Data entry skills.
• Experience in pick, pack, and ship operations.
• Healthcare support.
• Prescription refill processing.

• Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds.
• Capability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift (8+ hours per day).
• Requires bending, twisting, reaching, and grasping.

The role is set in a fast-paced, high-volume automation environment with a pick, pack, and ship focus. The schedule includes Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Monday to Thursday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with mandatory overtime that can be regular and often up to 1 hour, occasionally extending to 2 hours following a major US holiday. This position is on-site and does not involve patient interaction or insurance data entry. The work atmosphere is team-oriented and safety-first, with opportunities for growth and advancement. This is a Contract position based out of Everett, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.95 - $20.95/hr.
