Job Summary

Are you a people-person who loves to help others? Robert Jacobson Pharmacy is a community-focused business seeking a friendly and reliable Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position where you'll be an essential part of our daily operations and directly serve the needs of our neighbors in Westchester. The ideal candidate is willing to learn, and has exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities 

• Provide excellent customer service, including handling cashier responsibilities and answering phones with a positive attitude.
• Help customers find the right medical supplies, including over-the-counter braces, support stockings, and other products.
• Become part of a motivated and welcoming team dedicated to patient care and community wellness.
• Receive incoming inventory, verify the accuracy, log it within the system, and put it away as needed.
• Accept payment for prescriptions and small transactions.
• Gain experience with medical equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• The ability to multitask and shift priorities, as needed

Experience with medical supplies or in a retail pharmacy environment is a plus, but not required. We will provide all the necessary training for the right candidate!
