Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Location: Boston, MA
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, managing prior authorizations, and ensuring exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications.
Accurately enter and process prescription information into the pharmacy system.
Manage insurance claims, prior authorizations, and resolve billing issues.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns.
Maintain proper inventory levels and organize medication storage.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Active Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) or eligibility to obtain certification.
Previous experience in a pharmacy setting preferred (retail, clinical, or prior authorization).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
