The Practice Leader will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of our Hydrology/Hydraulics projects, providing technical expertise, and driving strategic growth. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leaders; providing overall guidance on the design and technical aspects of the team(s) projects; preparing proposals and client agreements; monitoring project tasks, budgets and schedules with Senior Project Managers and Project Managers; overseeing technical and professional development of project team(s); participating in developing company design and production standards; and actively participating in professional associations and civic organizations. Qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural or civil engineering from an ABET accredited college or university; registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Texas for over 10 years; Certified Floodplain Management (CFM) certification preferred; 20+ years of experience with 15 years of progressively solving complex challenges for public clients in the local market; proven communication skills; proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships; proven leadership ability; active involvement in professional associations and civic organizations; and ability to work 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
