Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day administrative operations of the medical office
  • Supervise scheduling, front and back office workflows, and patient records management
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards
  • Lead office staff, facilitate training, and support personnel development
  • Manage billing, insurance verifications, and follow-up on claims
  • Implement and streamline office procedures to optimize patient experience
  • Handle patient questions and resolve concerns professionally
  • Collaborate with clinical staff for coordinated patient care delivery
Qualifications

  • Previous experience in medical office management or healthcare administration
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, especially in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with medical office terminology and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Professional phone etiquette and appearance
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Fluent in English; Spanish fluency highly preferred
  • Proven track record in staff leadership and workflow optimization
