Job Description

We’re looking for a Product Designer- Footwear to drive cutting-edge collaboration projects and bring new creative energy to sport and lifestyle footwear. This role sits at the intersection of culture, design, and innovation. You'll work across internal and external teams to turn bold ideas into functional, future-forward products that are as inspiring as they are commercially viable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of high-energy, collaborative footwear collections from concept through execution.
  • Develop visionary concepts rooted in cultural relevance, performance, and innovation.
  • Balance design originality with manufacturability, sustainability, cost, and brand goals.
  • Create 2D tech packs, sketches, illustrations, and renderings to communicate design intent clearly.
  • Translate insights and consumer research into meaningful design narratives.
  • Partner closely with developers, engineers, and product managers to refine ideas into market-ready product.
  • Guide conversations with collaborators and internal teams, acting as a key creative voice.
  • Foster cross-functional alignment while pushing design boundaries.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in innovative footwear or performance/lifestyle product design.
  • Proven track record in collaboration-based design projects.
  • Expertise in form, color, materials, and consumer-focused storytelling.
  • Strong sketching and rendering skills, with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Able to build accurate 2D technical drawings (tech packs).
  • 3D design experience (e.g., Rhino, Modo, Gravity Sketch) and cobbling/prototyping are a plus.
  • Deep understanding of material and manufacturing processes, including sustainable design.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (Keynote, PowerPoint, etc.).
