We are looking for a dedicated Property Accountant to join our team in Folsom, California. This role involves managing financial records and ensuring accurate reporting for real estate properties. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in property accounting systems and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records for assigned properties, including preparation of monthly and annual reports.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank accounts and financial statements to ensure all records are correctly balanced.
• Utilize Yardi software to manage property accounting tasks efficiently.
• Collaborate with property managers to address budgeting and expense-related inquiries.
• Prepare and submit tax filings, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and responses.
• Monitor tenant billing and lease agreements for proper accounting treatment.
• Assist with special projects related to financial operations as needed.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in property accounting or a related field.

• Proficiency in Yardi software is required.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to analyze financial data and provide meaningful insights.

• Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

• Familiarity with real estate industry operations is a plus.
