We are actively hiring an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a direct hire, permanent hospital position . This ER RN role is ideal for nurses who thrive in fast-paced emergency departments , trauma care, and high-acuity environments.

This Emergency Department RN position supports trauma, stroke, AMI, and behavioral health patients , including both adult and pediatric emergency care . If you are an ER RN , Emergency Room Nurse , or Registered Nurse with emergency or acute care experience , this is a strong long-term opportunity.

ER RN Responsibilities

As an Emergency Room Registered Nurse , you will:

• Provide direct patient care as an ER RN in a hospital emergency department
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
• Deliver emergency, trauma, and critical care nursing services
• Act as a patient advocate for emergency and trauma patients
• Administer medications and manage emergency department equipment
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care
• Work collaboratively with physicians and the emergency care team

This ER RN job offers exposure to a wide range of emergency cases and advanced clinical skills.

ER RN Schedule

• Day, evening, or night shifts (based on department needs)
• Weekend rotation required
• Scheduled off at least three holidays per year
• Occasional overtime may be required

ER RN Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Must hold RN license in state of permanent residence
• BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire
• Emergency Room RN, ER RN, or acute care RN experience preferred

ER RN Pay & Benefits

💵 Hourly Pay: $33.00 – $52.80 (commensurate with experience)
