Job Description

*Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift Leader*

Brookside Inn, a privately owned, skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Castle Rock, is seeking compassionate and conscientious Registered Nurses to work as a Night Shift Leader. We are looking for professionals who are committed to the highest standards of integrity, quality care, and respect for our residents.

*Rate of Pay*
* $44.00 - $50.00
* + $2.00 per hour shift differential if working at least 4 hours between 6:00pm and 6:30am

*Responsibilities*
* Assist with planning, organizing, developing, and directing overall operation of the Nursing Department.
* Interprets policy and regulations to all nursing personnel and ensures compliance
* Analyzes and evaluates nursing and related services to ensure quality of care
* Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
* Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene, safety, and infection control (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)
* Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
* Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.
* Attends and participates in facility and organization committee meetings
* Monitors, reports, and responds to incidents and accidents as appropriate.
* Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality care.
* Ensures availability of adequate and appropriate supplies and equipment
* Complete other duties as assigned

*Qualifications*
* Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
* Current, unencumbered, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado
* Current CPR certification
* Advanced education and training in nursing, business or other disciplines related to the position (preferred)
* At least one year experience as a Registered Nurse (preferred)
* Previous management/supervisory experience (preferred)
* At least one year experience in long-term care (preferred)
* In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and infection control guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times
* A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Responsible, reliable, dependable, and compassionate
* Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
* Patient with excellent problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44.00 - $50.00 per hour
