Now Hiring: Entry-Level Security Guard / Residential Specialist in Waikiki

A luxury high-rise condominium in the heart of Waikiki is looking for a dependable and personable Entry-Level Security Guard / Residential Specialist to join our professional team.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has recently earned their Hawaii Guard Card and is ready to take the next step in their security career. You'll be part of a friendly, respected staff in one of Honolulu's most vibrant communities, helping to protect and serve residents who call this beautiful property home.
The position offers $18 an hour to start, with a review and potential raise after a 90-day probationary period . You'll enjoy a consistent full-time schedule- Saturday through Tuesday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. -with Thursdays and Fridays off to enjoy life in paradise. Health, dental, and PTO benefits are available after an extended employment period.
As a Residential Specialist, you won't just be standing watch-you'll be part of the daily heartbeat of the community. Each day brings variety and purpose. You'll conduct patrols through the property and parking areas, greet residents and guests with professionalism, and respond to everything from noise complaints to delivery arrivals. Your attention to detail will help maintain safety logs, monitor security systems, and ensure building rules are followed with tact and fairness.
You'll also be the friendly face who assists delivery drivers, verifies contractor access, and ensures the right people are in the right places. Residents will rely on you for simple things-directions, assistance with packages, or a reassuring presence after hours. The ideal candidate combines alertness with warmth, professionalism with approachability.
No previous security experience is required, but reliability, integrity, and a service-minded attitude are a must. You'll work closely with property management and maintenance teams, learning the ins and outs of residential operations while developing real-world security and customer service skills that can open doors to long-term career growth.
