Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Government Location in Tabor City, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This armed post requires you to conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with others and upholding the highest standards of integrity. This position may also involve driving responsibilities as part of your patrol duties.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents within the government facility.
  • Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas.
  • Document and communicate any incidents, observations, or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or requests for assistance as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess an armed guard card or license as required by state or local regulations.
  • Must have a valid armed sidearm license or permit as required by law.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
  • Must possess a North Carolina Armed Security Professional License.
  • North Carolina Security Professional Registration with Allied Universal Security is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
