As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol - Morning Shift in Largo, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to be prepared to act with professionalism and integrity at all times. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 04:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor for and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or emergencies as observed during patrols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and/or criminal activity.
• Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and/or members of the public as required by site protocols.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and/or activities during the shift.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols for armed patrol posts, including proper handling and storage of assigned equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent. This requirement may be completed post hire.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
