Job Description

As a Security Professional - DoD Cleared Patrol in Annapolis Junction, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with others and upholding the highest standards of integrity and reliability. This role is unarmed and does not require driving duties.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.83 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and observing for any unusual conditions.
• Interact with personnel and visitors in a professional manner, addressing questions and providing assistance as needed.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or observations according to site protocols.
• Support the overall security-related operations at the location, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• Armed designation is required for this role.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• State, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
