Seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and scalable cloud infrastructure while ensuring real-time monitoring, threat detection, and compliance adherence. Will need to have deep expertise in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud and a strong background in automation, security, and DevOps practices.
General Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services.
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies and best practices.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost efficiency.
• Architect and deploy automated cloud solutions to streamline operations.
• Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
• Lead disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Research and evaluate emerging cloud technologies to drive innovation.
• Design identity and access management (IAM) policies and role-based access controls (RBAC).
• Implement security monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to detect threats and anomalies.
• Conduct regular cloud security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Lead and mentor cloud operations team.
Skills and Experience:
• Identity & Access Management (IAM): Expertise in designing and managing role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and single sign-on (SSO).
• Threat Detection & Response: Knowledge of SIEM solutions (Splunk, Azure Sentinel, AWS Security Hub), intrusion detection systems (IDS), and incident response strategies.
• Monitoring & Logging: Experience with CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog, Prometheus, ELK Stack for performance and security monitoring.
• Container Security: Best practices for securing Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible for automation and security hardening.
• Network Security: Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, zero-trust architecture, DDoS protection, and secure network design in cloud environments.
• Data Encryption & Key Management: Implementation of encryption protocols, KMS, and data protection best practices.
• Expertise in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, and automation tools.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
