Contract Financial Analyst

Duration : 3-6 Month Contract with possible extension and/or conversion to Full-Time

Location: Hybrid 2-3 days per week in Sun Valley, CA facility,

Pay Rate : $50.00-$55.00 per hour.

Significant Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design KPIs, metrics, and maintain/analyze complex data on product performance.
  • Analyze KPI’s specific to e-commerce (customer acquisition/retention, churn, etc.).
  • Analyze product line and customer profitability.
  • Aid in development of financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
  • Identify efficiencies and opportunities for cost. reduction and/or service improvement within the branches.
  • Evaluate efficiencies gained with automated processes and equipment and scalability to other locations by measuring against goals and objectives and determining impact on other warehouse processes.
  • Leverage AI tools effectively and responsibly to optimize processes, improve accuracy, and increase efficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Coordinate annual operating budget and document key underlying assumptions.
  • Forecast financial performance under different market scenarios.
  • Present and explain complex budgetary and financial analyses and make sound recommendations to senior management through the use of detailed charts, graphs, and other audio-visual aids.
  • Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepares various financial reports to support monthly/quarterly reporting and other ad hoc reporting.
  • Compiles and consolidates financial findings and/or recommendations and provides insights to management.
  • Performs or reviews analysis on certain key accounts which includes forecasting and expense comparisons against budgeted results.
  • Active participate in product pricing discussions.
  • Performs other duties as required.
