Position Summary

The Sam’s Club Merchandising Portfolio Finance Team is hiring a Senior Manager who will work side-by-side with finance and business leaders to provide critical thought-leadership and help shape our member experience and Company performance. The Sam’s Club Merchandising Portfolio Finance Team is responsible for managing all aspects of Sales and Gross Profit including merchandising and channel decisions support .

About the Team:

Join the Merchandise Portfolio Finance team to help 30 million members live better every week. As a fast-paced, central team, we work across the business to understand trends and shopping behaviors that impact Sales and Gross Profit across entire Sam’s Segment. As a Co-pilot to the business you will help reinforce curation discipline, delighting our Member’s through elevating our end-to-end offering.   

What you’ll do:

  • Leverage Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in the forecasting process
  • Coordinate forecasting inputs across the business and finance teams
  • Full ownership of OneStream forecasting process
  • Daily Sales Forecasting and performance analysis
  • Work cross functionally with Store Operations and eCom to forecast customer and fulfillment channels

  • Strong Storytelling and Excellent communication and influence skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Strategic mindset and Problem solving and being comfortable with ambiguity
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing senior leadership
  • Experience with Onestream, SAP, PowerBI, and BigQuery
  • Strong business acumen and ability to think strategically

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
1 year’s experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
1 year’s supervisory experience.
