No relocation is offered.** **What You'll Do:** AT&T is looking for a Network Engineer on our Fiber and ROADM Network Engineering team based in Dallas, TX and Atlanta, GA. In this role, you'll analyze, develop, and execute Fiber and ROADM network capacity plans for ensuring growth capacity is available into various Carrier Hotels / Data Centers across the nation, as well as maintaining the working relationship with the Carrier Hotel / Data Center providers to ensure additional space and power capacity can be procured as needed along with ensuring facility access for operations technicians. You bring experience in being able to evaluate engineering criteria and requirements against capacity constraints and finding creative capacity addition solutions when traditional approaches are not enough to attain the capacity need target. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams and external carriers to build and initiate growth expansion initiatives. **What You'll Bring:** + Analyze, develop, and execute Fiber and ROADM network capacity plans to ensure growth capacity is available for future customer need. + Develop and maintain working relationships with external Carrier Hotel / Data Center providers to ensure plan execution and issue resolution. + Collaborate with various internal engineering and connection management teams to identify opportunities to reduce operational cost. + Analyze customer trends and other engineering data inputs to more fully optimize capacity growth plans and existing capacity investment. + Track, analyze, and report on capacity growth projects to ensure timeliness of project completions. **What You'll Need:** + Ability to understand and apply network and capacity engineering guidelines and architectures to specific geographic network segments. + Ability to work effectively with both internal and external teams across multiple organizations to ensure on-time completion of infrastructure projects. + Interest in building new infrastructure network planning and capacity management capabilities. + Strong inter-personal skills with positivity and excitement to lead peers and co-workers to collaborative solutions and issue resolution. + Ability to communicate complex or technical network engineering issues in a clear, simple, understandable way. + Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired. + 3+ years of related experience. + Certification is required in some areas. + Demonstrated ability to problem-solve. + Demonstrated ability to identify and implement creative solutions to persistent issues. + Desire to learn and collaborate with team members across multiple organizations. Our Senior Network Technology Engineer earns between $106,100.00 - $178,200.00 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
