Store Asset Protection Associate We are looking for a Store Asset Protection Associate to join our team at Five Below. You will help ensure the safety and security of our store while delivering excellent customer service. Qualifications Good verbal and written communication skills. Customer service experience. Ability to communicate with all levels of staff and management. High school diploma or equivalent. 1‑2 years of retail loss prevention experience. Basic understanding of retail or security. Ability to work nights and weekends as needed. Must be able to stand/walk sales floor for 8 hours at a time. Must be able to lift and carry 20 lbs. Regular time and attendance is an essential function. Ability to work independently. Full understanding of Five Below policies and procedures. General product knowledge in key departmental areas. Job Responsibilities Contribute to shortage reduction and investigations. Work closely with the General Manager to ensure employees follow policies and procedures. Maintain employee entrance and track deliveries. Conduct store physical security checks and make recommendations to prevent loss. Perform figure 8 patrols and remain active throughout the store. Provide a visual presence at the entrance/exit and greet customers. Conduct safety inspections and communicate hazards to store management.
