Skills:
1.Overall role of Lead Technologist within the Blood Bank in the performance of blood services, which included the
testing component of type and screen with crossmatch and other related blood bank techniques and procedures.
2. Assign workload to personnel in the laboratory in the corresponding section of the Blood Bank in order to obtain
maximum productivity. Assist technologists and technicians with more difficult and complex laboratory tests and
analytes of test results and result interpretation.
3. Train technical staff relative to instrumentation and understanding of the concept of the test procedure being
performed. Assure proper functioning of equipment and its performance. Maintain quality checks on results and
document all statistical data
