Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a contract assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The COTA will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to help residents improve independence with daily activities and functional skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
  • Provide therapeutic activities focused on ADLs, fine motor skills, strength, and coordination
  • Monitor patient progress and report findings to the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
  • Ensure patient safety and compliance with therapy protocols
Required Qualifications
  • Active state Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license (must be current)
  • Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
Additional Details
  • Minimum experience: less than 1 year (new graduates encouraged to apply)
  • No holiday coverage required
  • Bilingual skills not required
