LanceSoft is seeking a travel Paramedic for a travel job in Portsmouth, Virginia.

Job Description & Requirements

• Shift: 12 hours, days, evenings, nights, flexible
• Employment Type: Travel

Work Schedule: 24/7 operation; rotating 8-10, or 12-hour day, evening, and night shifts. Typical shifts may include 0600–1800, 1500–2300, 2200–0600, or 1800–0600.

Weekend and holiday shifts required. Not to exceed 80 hours in a two-week pay period.

Overage: Variable; assigned on an as-needed basis to cover emergent or extended shifts to maintain patient safety and mission continuity. Estimated 200 total hours annually across the Paramedic staff.

Education: Graduate of an accredited Paramedic program that meets National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) standards. Equivalent education substitutions are not permitted for this position

Experience:

• Minimum of 12 months of experience as a Nationally Registered Paramedic (NRP) after graduation.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in advanced life support (ALS), interfacility transport, and emergency care for critically ill and trauma patients in hospital or pre-hospital settings.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment preferred
  License/Certification:
• National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification as a Paramedic (NRP) or State of Virginia Paramedic license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA or ARC).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (AHA or ARC).
• Other Requirements:
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Valid driver’s license and completion of an Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) or equivalent required for ambulance operation
