Mentorship of 3 assistant project managers required. Total compensation upwards of $150k-$200k, with 100% paid benefits and a 6-month performance-based pay increase. Position Overview: Seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple wet utility pipeline projects, manage development and execution, and mentor junior staff. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and adapting to evolving tools and processes. This role is on-site; remote work is not an option. Key Responsibilities: Project Oversight: Manage planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance. Team Development: Mentor and train Project Management Assistants, fostering collaboration. Client Communication: Maintain strong client relationships and manage expectations. Resource Management: Coordinate resources across teams, subcontractors, and vendors. Budget and Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, handle change orders and procurement. Modern Tools Implementation: Embrace and adapt to new project management tools, including AI technology. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure regulatory compliance and proper documentation. Problem-Solving and Risk Management: Identify risks and develop proactive solutions. Progress Reporting: Provide updates and reports to senior management. Qualifications: Experience: 7-10+ years in project management for wet utilities such as water, sewer, stormwater, and pipelines. Leadership: Proven ability to mentor staff and manage multiple stakeholders. Tools: Experience with modern project management software; familiarity with AI tools is a plus. Adaptability: Ability to improve practices and adapt to internal processes. Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills. Education & Certifications: Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related; PMP, AACE certifications advantageous. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills for anticipating challenges and solutions.
