We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with a solid background in machining and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to study blueprints, sketches, and sequence of operations to perform precise machining tasks. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the accuracy and functionality of our machinery while ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Study blueprints, sketches, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines as necessary. Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth, and angle of cut. Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, adjusting machine controls as required. Verify conformance of finished work-piece to specifications using measuring and inspection tools. Set up and operate machine on trial runs to verify accuracy of machine settings. Confer with production personnel and programmers to resolve machining or assembly problems. Maintain cleanliness in the work area and adhere to safety procedures at all times.
High School Diploma or GED. Knowledge of blueprints and CNC machines. Experience working with Mazak machines. 3+ years recent CNC machining experience, preferably with 4 and 5 axis machines. Proficiency in set-ups and true machining, not just button pushing. Experience with Mazatrol SmoothX Controls and Fanuc controls.
Mazak 3-5 axis machining experience with a CNC Lathe background. Millturn background is a must. Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $52000.00/yr. Medical, vision, 401K, 1 week vacation at 1 year. 2+ years 2 weeks.
This is a fully onsite position in Wichita, KS.
