Gallery Director

Our client owns multiple contemporary art galleries, and one location is in Fort Worth, TX. We are looking for a full-time, experienced Gallery Director for this location. This role is ideal for someone passionate about art and skilled in sales, event planning, and curation to enhance the gallery experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily gallery operations to create a welcoming environment.
  • Build relationships with high-value clients for events and rentals.
  • Curate engaging exhibitions to attract interest.
  • Plan and host events to boost community engagement.
  • Drive sales of fine art and collectibles.
  • Mentor and manage gallery staff for a strong team culture.
  • Work on marketing to grow the gallery's presence and attract new clients.
  • Focus on business growth and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in high-value sales, particularly in the art, design, or luxury sectors.
  • Strong skills in leadership and team development.
  • A keen eye for design and visual aesthetics.
  • Experience in planning events, hosting clients, and networking within the community.
  • Outstanding communication and ability to build relationships.
  • Professional demeanor focused on customer satisfaction, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Having connections in the local art or cultural scenes is a plus. 

Compensation:

  • Base salary: $50,000–$80,000
  • Commission: 6–7% on sales 
  • Total Comp estimated $200-400K annually
