Reliant Staffing Solutions/RSS Medical is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Los Angeles, California.
Job Description & Requirements Job Summary:

\n- Provide direct patient care in a Telemetry unit; may float to Med-Surg as needed
\n- Care for adolescent to geriatric patient populations
\n- Maintain a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
\n- Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias using telemetry (both on-unit and remote monitoring)
\n- Perform post-cardiac procedure care (angiogram, MI, cardiac cath, cardiac surgery)
\n- Administer blood products, manage central lines, PICC lines, and start IVs
\n- Follow and manage Heparin protocols, cardiac drips, and vasoactive drips (no titration required)
\n- Manage respiratory interventions: chronic ventilated patients, chest tubes, CPAP/BIPAP, HFNC, tracheostomies, oxygen delivery devices
\n- Ensure all care is consistent with med-surg and telemetry competencies (rated 3 or higher)
\n- Work every other weekend; no on-call requirements
\n- Wear royal blue scrubs
\n- Maintain required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
\n- Must have at least 2 years Telemetry experience and 3 years overall nursing experience
\n- Able to read and interpret cardiac strips
\n- Adhere to strict RTO (requested time off) guidelines during the 13-week assignment
\n- Open to first-time travelers
