Job Description & Requirements Position: RN-Utilization Review (Case Management)
Location: Bakersfield, CA, 93301
Contact Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension.
Shift Timing: Days (5x8)
Hours per week: 40 hours.
License and Certification: AHA-BLS and CA RN License
***3 years' nursing experience in an acute hospital setting- Prior care coordination experience in a CommonSpirit/Dignity/CHI hospital***

Summary:
**Looking for someone with excellent customer service skills. Strong interpersonal & written communication skills. Ability to multitask, work independently, & work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.**
Common types of patients & job duties: Dealing with all payers, uninsured, and homeless. Completing initial assessments and DC planning (including nursing homes, home health, DME, prior authorizations, etc.)
Caseload/# patients per day/consults per day. Caseloads can range from 15 to 28 on average
